How this predictor works
Match your seat pool
We pick closing ranks for your quota and the seat pools you can compete for: your category, Open (OC) seats, and women-reserved seats if you are female. Management seats are not category-reserved.
Build a reference rank
For each college + course we take the closing rank of a chosen year, or a weighted average of all years (latest year counts most: ).
Compare & classify
Your rank ÷ reference rank gives a ratio. A lower ratio means you are comfortably inside the cut-off; above 1 means last year's closing rank was better than yours.
About & how to use
Step-by-step
1) Enter your NEET PG All India Rank. 2) Choose your category as per your Telangana caste certificate (EWS needs a valid EWS certificate). 3) Choose the quota you are eligible for. 4) Click Predict Colleges, then narrow down with the filters: college, course, branch, safety level, sort order. Each card shows closing ranks year by year: green years are ones where your rank would have been enough, red years are ones where it would not.
What are the quotas?
State Quota (Competent Authority / Convener): government college seats left after the All India Quota plus the Category-A seats of private colleges, filled by KNRUHS with Telangana reservations. All India Quota: 50% of government college seats, filled by MCC with central categories (OBC-NCL instead of BC groups). Management (Category-B) and NRI (Category-C): private college seats with higher fees, filled by merit without caste reservation.
Where does the data come from, and what is missing?
Final State Quota closing ranks for 2022, 2023 and 2024 (Management quota: 2023–2024) from KNRUHS counselling, as compiled by meducate.in. They are published per course for all government colleges together and all private colleges together, for OC, BC-B, SC and ST (general and women-reserved seats). Not yet included: college-wise ranks, BC-A/C/D/E and EWS category ranks, All India Quota, NRI quota and 2025. For those categories the predictor falls back to Open-seat ranks.
Why is my category mapped to OBC for All India Quota?
MCC uses central categories. Telangana BC groups are shown against the central OBC list here as an approximation; your BC group must be in the central OBC-NCL list for this to apply.
Does this cover PwD, local/non-local or in-service quotas?
Not yet. The data structure accepts any category or quota code. Add rows with a new code (e.g. "OC-PH") and add the code to CATEGORIES / QUOTAS in the script to support it.

Disclaimer
- Predictions are based on previous years' closing ranks. Actual closing ranks change every year with the seat matrix, new colleges and seats, qualifying percentile cut-offs, candidate choices and the number of counselling rounds.
- Closing ranks differ between rounds (Round 1, Round 2, mop-up, stray vacancy). Check which round your data is from.
- Eligibility (local/non-local status, certificates, service quota, PwD) is decided only by the counselling authority.
- Always check the official notifications, seat matrix and allotment lists published by KNRUHS (State Quota) and MCC (All India Quota).
