How this predictor works
Official allotment data
We read every KNRUHS college-wise allotment list (all phases, 2021–2025) and take the highest rank allotted in each college, course, category and seat type.
Seats you can compete for
For each college and course we combine the pools open to you: Open (OC) seats, your reserved category, women-reserved seats if you are female, local seats if you are a Telangana local, and minority seats if applicable.
Compare and classify
Your rank ÷ the reference closing rank gives a ratio. The reference is one year's closing rank or a weighted average ().
Quotas and categories explained
State Quota (Competent Authority / Convener): government college seats left after All India Quota, plus Category-A seats of private colleges, with Telangana reservations. Management (MQ1, Category B), NRI (MQ2) and Institutional (MQ3): private college seats filled on merit without caste reservation. SC was sub-categorised into Groups I, II and III from 2025; earlier years have a single SC pool. EWS: KNRUHS state-quota PG counselling had no EWS seats in these years, so EWS candidates are compared with OC seats.
First phase or final closing rank?
The final closing rank includes mop-up and stray-vacancy rounds, which often go to much higher ranks after seats are vacated or cut-offs are lowered. The first-phase closing rank is stricter and a better guide to what you can get early in counselling.
Updating the data
All closing ranks live in data.js, next to this page. Each line is one seat pool. Add a new year by appending it to years and adding two numbers (phase 1, final) to each row.

Disclaimer
- Predictions use previous years' closing ranks. Each year's ranks change with the seat matrix, new colleges and seats, NEET PG cut-off reductions, candidate choices and the number of rounds.
- Closing ranks in small pools (for example BC-C or women-reserved seats with one seat) swing a lot from year to year.
- Eligibility (local status, certificates, minority status, service quota, PwD) is decided only by the counselling authority.
- Always check the official notifications, seat matrix and allotment lists from KNRUHS (State and Management quota) and MCC (All India Quota).
